First of all I'd just like to say sorry If I posted this in the wrong section... Feel free to move it mods...
Anyway.
I will be buying a new 24 inch iMac and I have serveal questions about bootcamp.
Am I right in saying I will need to buy windows xp SP2 for it?
If so is this suffcient?

If not please can you tell me what is?

Also, In bootcamp or VMfusion, when I run a program would it run faster than my old PC? My old PC is a single core and 1 GB RAM...
The iMac im getting will be dual core, and have 2GB RAM.
Will this speed up programs even on bootcamp and VMfusion?

Thanks so much for any help in advance.
Ben
