I'm with stupid. Gonna be for the rest of my life. I trashed and deleted some files I need back. What's the best recovery software for 9.2.2. I tried Norton's File Saver but got nothing back. I have rebooted but have not used the machine since hoping for a miracle.

You might try DataRescue from Prosoft: www.prosofteng.com. I believe that it even has a try-before-you-buy option.
