I'm using Quark 4.11 and OS 9.2.2. I can open a Quark document by double clicking it on the desktop, but once opened I cannot select anything on the page. Most of my tools are greyed out. I can save or save as, but cannot open other documents through the menu. I need to revise two Quark files by morning... and I'm frantic! Any suggestions?
Also, when I open Quark I keep getting a message saying: "a copy of Quark with serial number (11 digit number) is already running on this machine." I did have previous versions of Quark installed, but I trashed them when this happened. (I just updated to Quark 4.11 from Quark 4.0). Can anyone help? Thanks so much!!! |

Work through the list and see if it makes a difference
Trash QuarkXPress preference file Disable extensions Disable font utility (if applicable) Disable system extensions - restart while holding down shift key If all else fails…trash all of QuarkXPress, install 4.0 and then apply 4.11 |
