Does anyone know if this works? Or is it the same issue as with Parallels or Fusion?

I agree with just running Windows if you can. I tried running Counter Strike with it, which isn't even a very demanding game, and I couldn't even get it to run.

Crossover won't run anything that assumes standard windows components are installed... which is just about everything. It's a nice idea, but really doesn't work very well at all.

I managed to get Counter-Strike: Source working with Crossover, but it didn't have the best audio/video quality and the frame rate was very low. Other programs just don't run or don't work properly.

Better off using Boot Camp and running Windows on a fresh partition.
