I am trying to set up a new e-Mac. I can access the web and receive mail but cannot send it. The report each time is that the server cannot be contacted at port 25.
The ISP has tried various things in the course of which port 25 has been shown to be open. One suggestion is that a firewall may be blocking it, but the only reference I can find to a firewall says that it is turned off. I'm going back to the ISP but would be grateful for any ideas as I think they are beginning to run dry! |
