Apple tv , connection problem !

i have an apple tv (40GB) . i have in my pc wifi(Gigabyte GN-WP01GT (mini) PCI WLAN Card) . how i connect apple tv with pc ? i need a router ? please help

You would most likely need a router, i haven't tried linking it with a wireless card as i own a router... you could try, the router route works but there is a chance you can use your current hardware to link it.
