I can no longer open dashboard by clicking on the scroll wheel. (I can open it with a keyboard-F key). And I can close dashboard by clicking on the mouse wheel.
I recently cleaned the mouse wheel by rubbing it upside down on a hard surface. Do you think I've damaged the mouse ? (Every other function seems to work fine). Or is there something else I can do? gordoon ______________________________ |

I don't think it's broken. Try the mouse click with another application. Or you can do what I do which is whenever I quickly touch the mouse clicker on the bottom right corner of the screen (you can set it up for any corner) the dashboard appears. To set this up open system prefs. then click dashboard and exposé. At the top it should say active screen corners. Click on whichever corner you want the dashboard to appear from and select dashboard. Hope this helps!
