I am going to buy one of the nice new aluminum apple keyboards. Im on the apple website but im not sure which is the United kingdom apple keyboard layout?

There is this one Which is just "Apple keyboard

And there is this one which is "apple keyboard - English"

Which one is the united kingdome keyboard with the "£" key?

Not too sure about the difference between the two but just to be on the safe side I'd go for the "Apple Keyboard - English", you can always return it if it's not the right one.

The software said Windows95 or better, so I got a Mac...

I'd assume it would be the one without the "English" label, because "English" suggests that it will be the US keyboard.
