Ever since I have seen the screens on the new 24" iMacs, I have been wishing that Apple would bring out a new 24" Cinema display that uses the same techology. The current Cinema display offers are getting "long in the tooth" from a technology perspective.

Are there any rumors floating around about a revision to the Cinema display line?

My Macs: PowerMac G5 Quad, 2.5 GHz, 4 Core, Mac Pro, 3.2 GHz 8 Core, Power Macintosh 7500/100
My iStuff: 32 GB iPhone 4, 30 GB iPod Video, 16 GB iPod Touch
My OS': Mac OS X Tiger, Mac OS X Snow Leopard, Mac OS X Leopard, Mac OS 8.6, openSUSE 10.3, Win XP

Somebody on here quoted Steve Jobs saying all Apple displays would be LED by the end of the year, but I haven't seen that anywhere else.

I'm also surprised they haven't upgraded. With Apple so big on built-in iSight cameras and doing away with the external one long ago, I thought they would have iSight in Cinema displays by now. I can't believe they let Dell beat them to the punch on that.

The fact that they haven't done anything with them for so long now is completely anomalous to me, so there's not telling.
