Network Server 500/132

I found a discarded Network Server 500/132 lying on the side of the nature strip so I took it in to add to my newly formed server collection. But I have absolutely no idea where to start in regards to restoration... Never fixed a server before. I've downloaded the service manaul to help me disassemble it, but how do the pros get all that old stuff looking brand new? I'm also missing a lot of parts like the redundant power supplies, SCSI hard drives and keyboard + mouse as well as AIX 4. I'm new to the Apple world so could anyone please tell me where I could find some of these parts for a reasonable price? Thanks in advance. |
