Hi there,

I have an G5 that doesn't have an iSight built into it, but am looking to buy one of the older external ones. Would anyone have an old one they were willing to sell? I can be contacted at shell_lyons4NOSPAM@hotmail.com.

Cheers,

Chell

Try eBay - I am SURE you can get one there for a reasonable price.

For example, this one:

http://cgi.ebay.com/APPLE-iSIGHT-VID...QQcmdZViewItem

is only $41.00.

This is the exception, as most seem to be listing at pretty much full retail. However, like all things with eBay, if you "shop smart" and are patient, you can get a good deal. I buy a lot of stuff on eBay and it works extremely well, and is usually very price effective.

My Macs: iMac 27" 3.4 GHz, Mac Pro 3.2 GHz, PowerMac G5 Quad 2.5 GHz, G4 Cube with 1.2 GHz Upgrade
My iStuff: 64GB iPhone 5, 64GB iPad4, 30GB iPod Video, 16GB iPod Touch
My OS': Mac OS X Lion, Mac OS X Snow Leopard, Mac OS X Tiger, Mac OS 9.2.2, openSUSE 10.3

Thanks- that listing is really reasonable- I had done a quick scan of ebay and they were all looking pretty pricy so I thought it was worth putting it our here to see if there were any other mac fans who had one lying around they weren't using anymore!

Cheers,

Chell
