Having been digital photographer for over 5 years now, I bought myself a MacBook Pro about four months ago, and now use that as my main computer
I still have a SCSI Nikon neg scanner which I had repaired about two years ago, and it's still attached to my PC (now in the use of my Daughter who has started secondary school). I am now about to digitize my negs from when I started taking pictures but I don't want to splash out on a new neg scanner, but I have seen a couple of converters from SCSI to USB adapter cables on ebay. Has anyone ever used one? Are they reliable? Will it work on my Mac? Or should I leave the scanner on the PC and use the PC whilst my daughter is at school? All advice gratefully received. |
