Well, you guys just imagine a 15" iMac with Pro Speakers, an Apple Keyboard, and a Logitech MX 310 mouse. Also imagine an HP 1210 Printer Scanner Copier to its left. Then imagine a cordless phone on top of a USB floppy drive to its right. Imagine a surge protector behind the Mac, and a tissue box to its right. All on a big dark brown desk.

I'm a recent Mac convert.

One month ago, I had this...

1.4 Athlon. 19" Mitsubishi CRT. 160GB HDD. 786MB RAM. MPEG 2 encoder card.

Now I've got this...

Dual 2GHz G5, 1GB RAM, 160GB HDD, 200GB Lacie External HDD, 20" Apple Cinema Display.

I'm want to replace the standard hard disk with a 74GB Western Digital Raptor, and add a 250GB Western Digital Caviar for the second drive. I will also upgrade the RAM.

I had a 15" 1GHz Powerbook Titanium in August. I returned it because the screen decided to blow up... and I made the mistake of getting one of these instead...

2.8GHz P4, 512 MB RAM, 60GB HDD, 16.1" TFT

I'm going to sell the Vaio and go 100% Mac.

Cool

That a nice set up you have there. I all I have to do is decide which I want more. The wide screen HDTV, a dual G5, a 2005 Ford Gt Mustang convertible, or should I wait for the G5 powerbook.

I had a similar decision: Mazda RX8 or G5.

First off, Hello.
I'm new here and from the looks of the topics and the mass amount of posts this place looks great. I wanted to find some good mac forums . I love the setups that everyone has so I thought I'd start off my first post with my setup. No mac computers, but I'm lucky enough to have an iPod and a MacWorld mag :p . Click links below:

I too am new here.

I used to be a PC guy (Windows and Linux admin, Windows for home) and hated Macs,
Heard of OSX coming and quickly changed my tune,
Got my Dual G4 (see sig) in April 2001, then got OSX 10.1 and love it (bugs and all )

I am now a Mac guy and despise Windows. People are still in shock!
I have converted people to the light side and am working on converting some more.

I recently purchased a 12" PowerBook and acquired a Beige G3 Desktop
(also a Performa but have no use for that one - anyone want it for free?)

Here are most of my systems:
Studio
Ignore the Sony Laptop - no mine. Did I mention I'm also a PC Tech? Blah! :p
The PowerBook is practically attached to me.
And yeah - the PC is mine, and it's running Windows 2000!
But it's days are numbered. It's mostly for Sim City 4 now. heh

Don't have decent pics of the G3 at the moment as it's not pretty where it is, but here it is when we where trying to figure out what it was:

My friend who works on my website sold me his PowerMac G4 which was built in 2001 I believe, and I like it a lot I hope to take a pic of it soon, but it basically looks like the last guy's Mac.

I love seeing your guys pictures! I'll snap a pic of the two Powerbooks here in a few days. I'm moving next month and once I get settled in, I'm going hunting for a G4 dual proc machine to replace my PC...

Keep up the great pics!
