Which Canon printer to get?

I can't decide on which Canon printer i want to order with my Macbook Pro that i'll be buying in 2 days. I'm looking at both the Pixma MP600 and Pixma MP530. I'll be using my whole setup for college next year, for printing and scanning documents and pictures. But i can't figure out which one to get, to pay $20 extra for the MP530 with a fax machine, or to not and go with the MP600 with a screen and memory card readers that i'll hardly ever use. Can anyone give me their opinions?

Any Cannon is a good choice in my book. I have have one that does the whole screen & camera card reader thing. And I would have to say there have been plenty of time I wish I had a fax machine.....however I do have a cannon digital camera so I actually use the card slots sometimes....not much though usually I plug it into the computer so I would say fax machine.
