If only the Macs had an eSATA interface. I'd buy one if this drive had Firewire. USB can be excruciating if you copy large files.

eSATA will only come in time... and yes thats true about USB, but I only use my external for music so USB is not a problem here

Sorry if I implied that this wasn't a good deal. It is. I'd just prefer a USB/FW drive. Of course if Apple should happen to deliver an eSATA interface on the new iMacs, this would be both a great choice and a great deal.
