External Hard diskI have this Toshiba 100 GB external hard disk. My Macbook recognizes it perfectly, however when I connect it to my PowerBook G4, it doesnt. It doesnt even show up in the Disk Utility.
Isnt this weired?

I'll take a guess... perhaps your Powerbook USB ports don't have enough voltage to properly run the drive. I have a split USB cable that can plug into two USB ports on a laptop and then into a drive. My friend has a PB G4 and using this cable is the only way to get a portable 2.5" drive to work.
Hope that helps.papercut
