Can I boot from an external USB drive?

Can anyone tell me if I can load tiger on an External USB drive and boot from it, or does it have to be a Firewire drive? Thanks Geoff |

Some G3's and G4's had unofficial support with USB 2.0 and OHCI compiant devices - you should probably research your particular system I cannot be held responsible for the things that come out of my mouth.
