Does anybody know if I put a Pioneer's DVR-A05 DVD burner (it is the superdrive isn't it!) in my old dual 500mhz G4 will iDVD work with it?

It should work. It is an IDE drive, and the only issues Apple has is if you use a drive that IS NOT Apple approved. I think you should be fine. But then again, I'm a newbie switcher

I thought only Apple authorized DVD burners worked with iDVD. Did they change this because of all the hype?
