Mac Pro - Crazy Mouse

Not sure where to put this but never mind..

my mouse every so often will quickl skip over to the other side of the screen randomly. usually to bottom right or bottom left. seems very odd

any ideas why?

Most likely a tracking problem. What kind of surface are you using the mouse on?

its on a mousemat and also my scroll will sometimes only scroll up and not down

The Scrolling problem is because the ball in the mouse is dirty. How to clean it

Is the mousepad a decent one? Try using a different surface for a while, to see if that fixes the problem.
