OS 8 and USB drive

can any one help me

i have a a removeable usb flash drive which i cant get to work on my 5500 with a pci usb card and runs os 8.1

does any one know how to get it to work?

Have you checked the hardware requirements, and do they support your computer? Regardless, it might be a good idea to upgrade to 8.6 if you can.
