Just curious, what do you think? Flat keyboards are pretty mainstream, but I can't live without my ergo. I'd like to see a nifty clear/white Apple-brand ergonomic keyboard someday, will it ever happen?

Branded by Apple? Probably not in the near future. I think Apple likes to stick with a very streamlined and similar-looking line of products.
Will we see one 3rd party? Heck, go ask Logitech, I'm sure they're just waiting for enough interest to make one. MacBook Air Unibody Core i5 1.8 GHz, 4 GB RAM, 128 GB SSD, iPhone 4S 32 GB White |

The Apple Adjustable keyboard was a miserable flop in the marketplace. Although it had a sliding adjustable angle, it was prone to mechanical problems (the adjustment mechanism would break) and was expensive (about $300--three times the price of a standard keyboard at the time. The wikipedia article is wrong.) I doubt Apple is eager to release another one.
You won't find a clear-plastic one, but Adesso makes a TruForm with a Mac layout, and Microsoft has a curved-but-not-split Wireless Desktop with a Mac layout. |
