psu for apple cinema display

Hi, im getting a 23" cd next week from the states. what i ask, is can i buy a cable from the monitor, to the wall(plug) so that itll work in the UK. if so, does anyone have a link? if not, will a simple plug converter work?

You need to find a 220/240 to 120 volt power tranformer.

accoding to apples site it uses 150 watts operating, but when an electronic device starts it will draw much more power to gat it running.

most electronics draw 3 times as many watts to start them.

I would get tranformer that supports 450 watts.

Unless the monitors built in PSU has a switch to change between 120 and 220/240 voltage. then you just need a new cable.
