Slow disk to disk file transfer

Hello All,

I am running about 6 x serves in my server room at the moment and they all seem to have the same problem. Right the set up for each server is that one server is dedicated to the OS, one dedicated to the server application we run, one dedicated to the backup of that server application and data file. In a case where we have to do a file transfer from disk to disk say in the case of a backup from one disk to the other. The file transfer seems to be really low. I am wondering if anyone has heard of this problem or can direct me to a place that has documentation on this issue. I have tried going to apples website but I didn't find anything and I have yet to be able to post to the discussions group yet.

Any help would be appreciated.
QUOTE Thanks
