That's the therotical maximum improvement. Notice apple said "upto" 39% faster. In real life it's more like 10-15% at best. Some applications will be noticably faster while other's you won't notice at all.

thats where 99% of the increase is being made aside from being able to run 64bit apps(laptop processors) and better virtualization.
