External HD Mac to PC

What program do I need if I have an external USB hard drive that is formatted in Mac OS X Extended Journaled, but I want to be able to read it on a PC if i connect it.

There are commercial software such as this you can use to access HFS+ partitions. However lot of people complain about the reliability of those software. Another possibility is to access it through network. O'wait... FAT32 might work as well.
