Macbook - Portable Hard Drive is Dead!

Member Since: May 21, 2006 Posts: 39 Mac Specs: iMac 20" 2Ghz Core Duo 250GB HD 256MB ATI x1600 2GB RAM 300GB Maxtor Ext HD Firewire 800 Edition	11-04-2006, 12:26 AM Connected my Seagate portable hard drive to a PC. Was transferring some stuff and then it froze. Now I can't get it to be recognized on any computer including my Macbook. Any suggestions besides "take it to a technician". Macbook Pro 15" 2.33Ghz Core 2 Duo 2GB RAM 120 GB HD 256MB ATI Radeon X1600 My Book Pro 500GB USB 2.0 Firewire 400/800
