I would like to get an idea of what mouse I should get to be used with my Macbook. I find that the hot corners is starting to get annoying so I would like to get a mouse that has buttons that I can set to show the dashboard/desktop/all windows, etc. Any recommendations?
I am looking at the Logitech G7 and Logitech MX1000 right now. I have Logitech LX7 but I need more buttons that what it has.
Thanks!

Brand new wired MM came with my 20" imac but after one month it stopped scrolling up (down was ok). So I blew some air into it and it's worked since. I like the simplicity of it, but makes me wonder how long it will last if it hung up that soon. I'm thinking about a wireless logitech but I'll surely shop around first.

I use a Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 6000. It is by far the best mouse I have ever used and I have never ever had even a single issue with it. Decent range, perfect ergonomically and the scroll wheel is great. No issues when I switched from my Dell to my Macbook either. I highly recommend it.

I have been using the WMM since christmas and I must complain that the right click doesn't always work. I don't even use it for gaming, just for work in Word and Excel. Or do I just have a faulty WMM??

The scroll-ball is nice and once you got used to it, the scroll wheel on other mouse just seems "huge" by the it feels from your fingertip.

Cheers
Billy

I was using an original Microsoft Intelimouse

Yes it is a beast and it's pretty manky as well - I've had this thing for maybe 6 years now although it has spent the last couple of years in the back of a cupboard as I have a wireless mouse for the PC now. Only pulled it out because it was a bit easier to use a mouse for some of the work I was doing on the MacBook this week.

But I've bought/just received an Apple Bluetooth Mouse from eBay for less than £15 inc PnP It is really smart - super easy to setup and very sleek to look at. I keep wanting to use the rollerball though so maybe I'll be in the market for a Mighty Mouse in the future...

I have Logitech V200 and Wireless Mighty Mouse
and i can say that logitech is more than twice
better than mighty mouse, Mighty Mouse have
a very unstable tracking a right click not always
works. V200 is a twice cheaper than MM and
works twice better

Got a obvious (?) question about the wireless mighty mouse and keyboard: Does it drain the batteries if you keep the switch on under them?

yes, but they are supposed to go into a sleep mode, so they dont drain as fast.
