I bought the Logitech VX mouse and it was defective and had to send it back. Sigh, I'm having about as much luck with getting a decent notebook mouse as I am with MobileMe. (For another thread).

Mac Specs: MacBook Aluminum 2.4 ghz/Iphone 3G/Ipod 4th Gen/More Coming I'm sure, too bad for my wallet ;)
Can anybody tell me if the Nano reciever will work with the VX or MX Revolution? They're both 2.4 GHz so I don't see why not..

Do you mean this mouse? I'm seriously considering this one over the VX Revolution.

In fact, Amazon has it for $50.99 with free shipping (at least for prime - I always join every year, since I buy so much) and Logitech has a $10 rebate going on right now. Even if you did have to pay shipping, it would be worth it.

Oops! Looks like you had to purchase the mouse before 12/23/08. Sorry for the misinformation.

They all seem to be "wireless" tho not bluetooth. This is a bit crap isn't it? Means it will take up a USB port on my iMac - anyone found a bluetooth mouse with a dock with ideally, a good replication of the squeeze function? I have seen this:
Logitech MX Revolution Wireless Laser Mouse
Logitech MX Revolution Wireless Laser Mouse - Ebuyer

Which looks ok but its not bluetooth and is a funny shape - not sure how I'd find that. The last logitech mouse I used about 10 years ago was insanely heavy. I don't want a brick again. I guess I need to go and find one of these to play with. thoughts?
bought it in the end. Its ok. Bit light - took some getting used to. not sure I like the texture tbh. Would of prefered it to be smoother. like the scroll wheel. Not too sure on the usefulness of the 2nd wheel over say, a button but its pretty decent to use. And i can charge it overnight for allegedly 14 days worth of use. We'll see about that but currently its doing fine. Can use it on any surface it seems which is nice. Although its annoying i had to use a USb slot with the radio adapter. Just make it bluetooth you stupid people.

Ok, it's official, the Mighty Mouse definitely sux. I'm sick and tired of cleaning and/or trying to get the FANCY PINK POLKA DOTTED THING to work. Just to post on here was a pain. Enough, now do I call Apple or just buy two new ones (one for the MB and one for iMac). You would think Apple, of all companies, could make a decent mouse. Whoever worked on this should be fired immediately!

Yep, the not so Mighty Mouse finally died (thank goodness), but Apple Support was awesome - they're sending me a new one (not that I really want one, but I DID pay for the warranty. (Hot tip - the warranties on eBay are cheap). Now I'm going for the Revolution for my MacBook. How does the Logitech Nano compare to the VX revolution? Thanks for the advice!

Can someone recommend me a wireless mouse?

I don't have to much to spend ( money for birthday from one grandparent) and so probably about £40 pounds ($55-$60)

My requirements

1. Works with 10.4
2. Has both a left and right click with a clickable scroll button
3. Any extra buttons are compatible.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Wireless Laser Mouse 5000

I use this one, and it's one of the most comfortable mice I've ever used, plus all the buttons are programmable for Mac.
