Printer Suggestions for iMac

Can anyone suggest a quality photo printer. I'm about to order a new iMac & they offer several printers with purchase. the 3 brands are HP, Cannon & Epson w/ several differents types from each MFG...can anyone point me in the right direction?

I haven't tried it with a Mac yet but I love my Canon Pixma 5600R it's wireless and prints great Photos . Can't wait to try it with my iMac

I have an epson r340, i mainly use it for printing dvds, but when i print photos they are pretty good.

As far as brand I would say Epson is the best imo. I have used all of those brands and Epson has given me best quality prints.

I have an Epson CX3810 3-in-1, I "think" my mac detects it, but I can't print from it.. Itried looking for drivers butu no avail..

Whatever you do, do not get a Lexmark. My last two printers have been Lexmarks and I have had a terrible time with them. The only reason I keep my current one around is because I don't have the money for a new one.

I will add my voice to the Epson chorus above. I have one of their R800 high end photo printers, and it produces exquisite results - best I have ever seen, including from my older Canon i950.

My Macs: iMac 27" 3.4 GHz, Mac Pro 3.2 GHz, PowerMac G5 Quad 2.5 GHz, G4 Cube with 1.2 GHz Upgrade
My iStuff: 64GB iPhone 5, 64GB iPad4, 30GB iPod Video, 16GB iPod Touch
My OS': Mac OS X Lion, Mac OS X Snow Leopard, Mac OS X Tiger, Mac OS 9.2.2, openSUSE 10.3
