i have a old power mac and the monitor that came with it is to small. so i got a non apple monitor and hooked it up with a connector. last night i forgot to turn the monitor off and when i started up the computer today the monitor was blacking out and coming back on and there was a fizzing sound comming from the connector. when i turned off the computer there was a smell of burning rubber (although this may be from the cord sitting on top of the connector). is my monitor ruined?
QUOTE Thanks
