Looking for a keychain wireless signal finder
    Hello,
I'm out on a round the world trip at the moment with my powerbook G4. Internet cafes end up costing a fortune and I'm always so excited when by chance I open up the laptop to find a free wireless connection.
Is there a device or product on the market which is small like a keychain which can automatically detect if there is a wireless signal and also if there is a password protection or not?
It would be of the biggest help.
    Thanks,
    M

If you have Tiger, there is a widget called JiWire Wireless Network Finder that shows you all networks and whether or not they are encrypted.
    I try to Command+Shift+/ when I can.
