Do you know a good site for Emac Repair?

The Optical Drive on my1.25 GHz Emac isn't working. It does not show up, so either it is burned out, or it is disconnected. Before I take it in to get it fixed, I want to open it up and see if everything is connected. Does anyone know a good website that shows you how to take apart your emac and check the connections? Something that is the equivalent of for Emacs? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks-
