Wireless card for PC will work on a MAC?

I would like the "g" speed for my G4 wireless, but it seems that the only wireless PCI card available for MAC is only "b", 802.11b, not 802.11g. Am I wrong?

Can someone please tell me if a PCI card wireless 802.11g for a PC can be installed in a Mac G4 desktop? Will it work?

Thanks for your help
