Could someone please let me know how to change the Read Only status of one of my firewire partitions?
The other one is fine but when I use Apple+I to change the status - the Read and Write option is greyed out.

First make sure you hit the little lock icon underneath to authenticate your username before adjusting the permissions...
If that doesn't work...
Did you format ever it on a PC running XP? It could have made it into an NTFS partition which is read-only on OSX."If you had a friend who was a tightrope walker, and you were walking down a sidewalk, and he fell, that would be completely unacceptable." -Mitch Hedberg
