I have an HP 6600 that used to print in color and now will only print B&W. I am using my Mac Laptop. I find no place in the page setup or print menu to change this setting.

Hi welcome to the forums!

First thing I'd check is if the printer is out of color ink - if the printer doesn't have an indicator on the printer itself (don't know off hand about your model), go to system preferences-> printers & scanners -> select the printer and select the options/supplies button and under the supplies panel see if it's out of color.

Next thing I'd probably do is when I pull up a print dialog, where the dropdown says layout, on my Mac, if I hit that I have an option Color/Quality where there is a check box that can be marked as print color as gray and make sure that's not checked.

My Macs: Late 2013 rMBP w/ 750m; Mac mini G4, 1.25 GHz, 512m ram (server); Late 2011 11" MBA, 1.8GHz i7, 4Gig Ram, 256Gig SSD, HD3000; Powerbook 12" G4 1.33GHz running Debian as a server; Apple TV (1080p version)

+1 on out of color ink. Check your ink levels. Also, from page 72 of the manual:
