For some reason my MAcTV now announces every move I make. I would like to silence this audio but find nowhere to mute it?

I assume you're talking about your Apple TV or is this an app? If it's the former, follow these to get to the menu to disable voiceover (the instructions are for enabling it but should help you find the right menu).
