    Specs:
Imac 27", 3.3GHz, 512 flash storage, 16GB memory, macOS Sierra.
Precisely Nick you would not know they are two units apart from the silicon joining strip. The only problem I find is batteries for the keyboard can be inserted without taking apart but the connect button needs that. Opposite with the dock.
Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!

Do you have one Harry? If you do...I didn't pick up on that detail in your earlier post.

    Specs:
    iMac 21.5" 2.5 i5 8G RAM OS X 10.10.3 (12C60)
Guess I'll stick with my trusty MM...or get a chair and computer desk along with a Track Pad.

One final question: Can they be both used at the same time? I don't mean simultaneously, but alternating between the two.
