Can't speak for the Android, but have you checked the Canon site to see if they've issued new drivers (Mavericks) for your MP 630?

Canon Australia released this on December 6 allegedly for Mavericks:-

MP630 series CUPS Printer Driver Ver. (OS X 10.7/10.8/10.9)

Hopefully it will work but have seen many printer manufacturers just tag the latest OS on to the list of compatibles operating systems.
Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!
