I just came across the Wintec FileMate Expresscard SSD drives.

Does anyone have experience with these, in particular with my model of macbook (mb pro 2.1 2.33 17inch, late 2006)?

Compatibility seems like its OK, so I want to know:

can you boot from it?

does it sit flush in the express slot?

is it faster than the SATA interface (ie am i better of getting an SSD to replace the main hdd)?

QUOTE Thanks
