I just bought an imac g4 from someone, they are gone and I'm stuck,I can't get past the log in because there is a password on it. What the hell should I do? can I switch hard drives-and how in the world would I do that?

If you have the OSX cds that came with the computer you can reinstall OS X and start fresh.
If you have the cd's what you do is put in the first disc and restart the computer. when the imac starts up hold down C and it will boot from CD and you can reinstall OS X and solve the password problem |
