I am having trouble with my mac pro running 10.7.5 It does not recognise my camera Nikon D5000 I seem to struggle doing this. It has worked in the past but now nothing... It does not show up in iPhoto or in finder am I doing somthing wrong?

Most of those views are robo-scans and aren't real.

I shoot with a D5000 too BTW. My recommendation is to forget connecting your D5000 with a USB cable. Invest in an SD Card Reader; I have several. They are cheap, reliable and easy to carry along. I keep at least one in each gear bag.

EDIT: I have several different versions, here is one, $9 on Amazon.
