recommend Dual NAS ?

Wanting to move Iphoto and Itunes off my (almost full) HD . I would like to have a dual drive so it is backed up . I am running 10.8.2 and do have issues with it finding my Time Capsule
sometimes. I've seen a lot of issues online with 10.8.X and drives .What say ye ?

2007 IMac 250gig on board 6gig ram
