Three month old iMac with Mt. Lion.

When I swipe the mouse to return to a page, it won't return to where I left off but rather it goes to the top of page (like reading a thread from the middle of the page and then going back to the thread list). Sometimes it does go to where I left off, but rarely. I'm running Chrome, but it does it with Safari, too. I've tried to be very careful with the angle of my swipe, completion, etc., but nothing changes. thanks.

I'm stunned no one has encountered this problem, or perhaps it's considered a ridiculous issue.

Solution: Preferences>Mouse and then change the default 1 finger swipe to 2 finger swipe. Works perfectly, goes back precisely where I left off and makes the " Mac experience" much more satisfying.
QUOTE Thanks
