I am trying to delete video files from my external goflex by drag and drop to trash and it says files cannot be deleted. Is the drive locked? Would disk utility manager help?
Thanks!!

How is the drive formatted?

If it is formatted NTFS (as it would be if it was used with a Windows PC) then you will have read only access unless you use 3rd party software (such as Paragon) or reformat to Mac OS X Extended Jounaled.

I've always wanted to be smart, handsome and modest. But, I guess I'll have to be satisfied with two out of three . . .
