Switched to Photosmart 7510 late last year. Scan and Fax issues ever since. E-Print was a bear to set up.
Recently my printer started messing up.
Wanted to get a problem free printer.....ended up with another 7510 under warranty.
All sorts of Conflicting information on he install!
What is the right way to do the install? With the HP Install disc, or having Apple support talk me they the process and not using the HP software? Joe

Attach the HP Photosmart 7510 to your Mac with a USB cable and turn it on. Open Print & Fax from System Preferences. The Printer should be listed and drivers installed automatically. Next, run software update from the Apple menu. Don't use the HP install disk unless the drivers have not been installed or the HP isn't working right.

That is what I did. Scanner doesn't work yet, haven't tried the fax so far. I haven't tried Eprint yet either from the Mac, but it didn't work from my IPhone.
IPad says no E- printers found. Joe
QUOTE Thanks
