Do any of you here have the 27" non-thunderbolt ACD?

I never noticed this before, but recently had my panel replaced due to a big vertical line appearing through the right side of the panel - and I've touched the sides and back of the monitor and it is very warm to the touch now.

It was never like this on my old display that I recall anyhow - is this anything to be concerned about, what is everyone else's like?

If it's the same build as the display on the iMac 27" I think what you may be seeing is a dust exhaust trail from the ventilation intakes behind the grill on the underside of the display. They draw air in and it exhausts out through the slots on the top rear of the panel.
