    Lightbulb is 3 Tb WD HDD supported by Macbook Pro..
    my config is.
    i5
    2.4ghz
    4gb RAM
    Model--Late 2011
    i want to know that Macbook pro supports WD 3tb Studio HDD??
    any kind of help would be appreciated..

    your best bet for stuff like that is go to the manufacture's website, find that specific model and see if it is Mac compatible.

    The Studio drive is an external drive? Then yes. As long as it has ports that match what is on your MBP, it will work. You may have to format it for Mac OS first though.
