simple G5 monitor question

A friend just gave a G5 but it needs a monitor. What do I look for that will work with a G5. Thank you in advance for any help.

Mac Specs: iMac i5 2.7GHz, 16GB memory, OS X.10

Well it depends on the graphic card connectors, however usually an Apple Direct Connect (ADC) or DVI display will plug straight in.

Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!
