    External HDD to timecapsule
I currently use a 1tb timecapsule as my wireless router and time machine backup for both my wife and my macbook's. I am starting to run short on space and was wondering if I could connect an external hdd to the time capsule. Back up one computer to the 1tb on my orriginal time capsule and the other computer to the external hdd.
Anyone have any success with this. I like the idea of wirelessly backing up and dont want to have to go purchase a new 2 or 3 tb time capsule.

It will work if you're using a powered external hard drive (so one that connects via USB and has it's own power cord).

I'm running a 2TB TC with a 2TB Western Digital HD as well.
