I have trouble releasing a cd from the cd-room in my mac pro after i spelt some soda on the table so it might have got some inside the cd room? When i press the eject button the cd tries to come out, but goes inside again after coming about 1mm out. i have tried to close all programs and press eject, then i tried to release it in terminal, then in disk tool, and then i tried to release it while restarting my mac, and still the same happens :/ Can anybody help me on how to get it out?
QUOTE Thanks

G'day and welcome to the forums.

Sorry to tell you real bad news, in fact in many cases liquid + electronics = death!

Have a look at this link. If you have a mouse, connect it up, reboot and hold down the mouse key immediately after the chime. Good luck:-

Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!
